Eligibility Criteria for Medical Officer and Other Posts
Educational/Technical Qualification & Experience:
Dental Surgeon: B.D.S. (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) degree from a recognised University or an equivalent qualification recognised by Indian Dental Council and Registration in the Dental Council of U.P.
Chief Fire Officer: 03 years degree in Fire Engineering from National Fire Service College, Nagpur or any equivalent degree from a recognized Institution of comparable status. Or Divisional Officers Course from National Fire Service College, Nagpur or equivalent course from recognized institution.
Allopathic Medical Officer: M.B.B.S degree from any University recognised by the Medical Council of India, A candidate who possesses a post-graduate Degree/Diploma in Medical or Health Sciences in a particular subject of a MCI recognised university.
Medical officer (Unani): A degree in Unani Tib of a university established by law in India Or Five years degree or diploma in Unani Tib of the Board of Indian Medicine, U.P. and should be registered as a Hakeem with the Board of Indian Medicine, U.P. and should have 06 months professional experience of State Unani or Allopathic Hospital or Dispensary.
Technical Officer/Principal : A degree in Mechanical/Electrical/ Electronics/ Telecommunication, Automobile or Production Engineering from a recognized University or A.M.I.E. (India) or A.M.I. (Mechanical Engineering.) (London) or A.M.I.E.E. (London) or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Govt. candidates applying for the post of principal should have 02 years teaching or workshop experience.
Lecturer: candidate should have Postgraduate Degree in concerned subject or equivalent qualification from a recognised university.
Allopathic Medical Officer (Provincial Medical and Health Services) -924 Posts
Professor Material Medica : A recognized diploma or a degree in Homoeopathy Or a qualification included in the IIIrd Schedule of Homoeopathy Central Council Act, 1973, and should have Ten years teaching experience including three years teaching experience in the concerned subject as Reader/ Associate Professor in a recognized Homoeopathic Medical College.
Professor (Shalya Tantra) : 05 years Degree in Ayurveda from a University or equivalent and should have Ten years' teaching experience of the subject (08 after post-graduate) including three years as Reader in a recognized institution, candidate should have working knowledge of Hindi, English and Sanskrit.
Reader Surgery : A recognized diploma or a degree in Homoeopathy Or a qualification included in the IIIrd Schedule of Homoeopathy Central Council Act, 1973 and 04 years teaching experience as Lecturer or Seven years teaching experience in a recognized Allopathic or Homoeopathic Medical College.
Biologist: Bachelors Degree in Science with Zoology as one of the subjects from a recognised University.
Assistant Engineer (Electrical Cell): candidate should have Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/ Electronics or Electrical Engineering from any recognised University/institution with minimum 07 years experience of maintenance of hospital equipments.

Eligible candidates can apply online through the official web portal (uppsc.up.nic.in) in the prescribed format and submit the application after fee submission on or before 07 December 2016.
Application fee: Rs. 125 (Rs. 65 for reserve category candidates and Rs.25 for PWD candidates).
