Eligibility Criteria for Junior Research Fellow & Other Posts
Educational Qualification
- Junior Research Fellow: Candidates should possess First class in M.Sc. (Horticulture / Agriculture) Or M.Sc. (Life Science / Biotechnology) with NET qualification with two years of research experience Or Post Graduation in Professional Course (M.Tech.) Or Ph.D. (Life Science).
- Technical Assistant: First class in M.Sc. (Botany) / M.Sc. (Life Sciences including Biochemistry / Plant Biotechnology / Agricultural Biotechnology) Or M.Sc. (Hort.) with Biotechnology specialization.
- Young Professional –I: First Class in B.Sc. (Agriculture / Horticulture / related Sciences) Or B.Sc. (any other Biological Sciences).
Age Limit
- Junior Research Fellow, Technical Assistant: Upper age limit for the post is 35 years for men and 40 years for women.
- Young Professional –I: Upper age limit for the post is 45 years.
