Eligibility Criteria for Deputy Superintendent and Other Posts
Educational/Technical Qualification & Experience:
Deputy Inspector General/Deputy Director: Officer under the Indian Police Service/State Police Services/Central Police Orgainsiastions/State Police Organisation who are empanelled for appointment as Deputy Inspector General at the Centre and possess a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university of the Central Police Organisations or Central Para Police Forces who are empanelled as Deputy Inspector General.
Principal Scientific Officer (Life Science): Officers of Central Government or Central Police Organisations or Central Armed Police Forces holding analogous post in requisite grade.Bachelor’s Degree in science with Molecular Biology or Biochemistry or Zoology or Botany or Microbiology or Forensic Science as a subject from a recognized University with 10 years experience.
Principal Scientific Officer (Uniform & Accoutrement): Officers of Central Government or Central Police Organisations or Central Armed Police Forces holding analogous post in requisite grade and Bachelor’s Degree in Textile engineering or Textile Technology or Fashion Technology or Fashion Designing from a recognized University with 10 years experience.
Principal Scientific Officer (Ballistics/Explosives): Officers of Central Government or Central Police Organisations or Central Armed Police Forces holding analogous post in requisite grade and Bachelor’s Degree in Science with Physics or Chemistry or Mathematics or Forensic Science as a subject from a recognized University.
Principal Scientific Officer (Traffic & Transport): Officers of Central Government or Central Police Organisations or Central Armed Police Forces holding analogous post in requisite grade and Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering with Automobile Engineering as a subject from a recognized University.
Vice Principal: Officers of Central Government or Central Police Organisations or Central Armed Police Forces holding analogous post in requisite grade and Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or equivalent with Five years’ experience
Assistant Director (Legal): Officers of Central Government or Central Police Organisations or Central Armed Police Forces holding analogous post in requisite grade and Bachelor’s degree in Law with five years’ service in the requisite grade.
Assistant Director : Officers of Indian Police Service or State Police Services or Central Police Organisations or State Police Organisations holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or Department and Possess.
Senior Scientific Officer : Officers of Central Government or Central Police Organisations or Central Armed Police Forces holding analogous post in requisite grade and should have Master’s Degree in concerned discipline.

Candidates will be selected on the basis of deputation.
